Founded in 1850 by Frederick Bloomer and Charles Herbert Newey, the company initially produced barbershop fittings, bar tops, and bed warming pans. Drawing on their copper expertise, they introduced the Simplex kettle, which remains crafted to the original 1903 patent. Every Simplex kettle is a handcrafted copper masterpiece, proudly stamped with the Newey & Bloomer name and "Made in England" hallmark.
